BYU Away Games

Stockton was born into a family of BYU fans. This football season he even went to three home games and did a great job! I'm sure these were the first of many to come!

Our tradition for "away" games is to watch them at Mikey's parents' house. The typical crowd includes Mikey, Grandpa Russ, Grandma CoCo, Grandma Pete, Aunt Judy, Mikey, me, and now Stockton (and usually Bishop Hecker, but he was out of town)! This was the first away-game-gathering of the season. We discovered, though, that even if it's a really good game, Stockton is half of the entertainment!

Stockton's First Snow

You know you live in Utah if the first snow falls in October, and then you don't get snow until January! We'll see if that holds true this year.

We were soooo excited to take Stockton outside to experience snow for the first time. He seemed pretty chill about it (no pun intended!). We tried to put some in his hand, but he wasn't too into that. He was just very observant.

Stockton: 10 Days Old

We're back!
I've taken quite the hiatus from blogging, but I'd really like to start again to document our family history.  I'll start with the most important event of the past year--or the past decade--the arrival of our sweet, sweet Baby Stockton back in May!  I'll post hospital pictures later, but here are his newborn photos.  Enjoy!

Once we got home from the hospital and had settled in for a few days, our dear friend, Marta, came over to take some newborn photos of Stockton.  She did such a great job of capturing his sweet temperament.  These pictures are one of my greatest treasures!
We absolutely adore our little man.  He is simply an angel.

Stockton loves his hands.  We could see him holding his hands up by his face in ultrasounds.
It's so cute to see him doing the same thing now.

Mikey's cousin (and my dear friend) Janelle, made the bedding for Stockton's crib.  It is amazing.  She is so talented.  She also made this "Stockton" sign for the "friends shower."  I'm so happy she let me keep it for his nursery!
