Mikey and I have always had fun with Halloween. For some reason we love to dress up this one time a year. It's just one of our things. To see our costumes from past years, click HERE, HERE, and HERE. However, with as much fun as we've had together on Halloween, this year we discovered that Halloween is SO much more fun with a baby. Even though Stockton really didn't understand why his mommy kept changing his clothes all day and even though he isn't into trick-or-treating yet, it was one of our favorite days as a family. I had so much fun playing dress-up with my Stockton-doll all day.

When Mikey was about two years old his family had their family photo taken in cute little Hawaiian outfits like this. When Mikey saw this little red outfit on eBay, he had to buy it for Stockton!
Halloween Evening: Costume #3
And here is the official-official costume. This little lobster costume is another costume that I've been waiting to use for years. I bought it at The Garden Path when I worked there several years ago. Even though we didn't have a baby, I just had to buy it. Stockton was the cutest little lobster and Mikey and I were chefs! We joked that we baked our lobster for 9 months. Haha.
We didn't really go trick-or-treating per se, but we did walk around the neighborhood and visit a couple friends in our ward. Can you believe it was warm enough to leave Stockton's little legs exposed?! It was the most beautiful Halloween weather I have ever seen!

One of our traditions is to meet all the Petersons at Mikey's parents' house to see everyone's costumes before trick-or-treating starts.
This year a friend of a friend made this kissing booth that attached to Mason's wheelchair. It was super cute and super thoughtful.
Our friends Devin and Marianne came by to say "Hi!" Their twins, Avalyn and Jensen, were the most adorable little chicks you can imagine. Holy cow.
After visiting with the Peterson Clan we headed to my sister Lynette's home for more Halloween festivities. My parents just returned home from a trip to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel, thus their very authentic Halloween costumes!

A couple nights before Halloween we went on a Halloween Cruise down the Provo River with my sister, Lynette, her kids Braden, Hailey, and Kahler, and my brother, Russ, his wife, Elizabeth, and their kids Davis and Callie. It was way past Stockton's bedtime, but he did a great job! I'm sure it helped that the weather was fantastic! He enjoyed looking at the lights and jack-o-lanterns that lined the river.
